Illness at School

Every family should have received a note last week about attendance at school while sick.  As per Department of Education policies we expect that if your child is unwell, and more specifically has a respiratory infection, that they will not attend school.  If your child arrives at school and is unwell or becomes unwell during the day, in keeping with Department policy you will be called to pick up your child.  If your child appears unwell in any way and you have clearance from their doctor to send them to school please send a note from your child’s doctor in their diary.  Budawang School has many children who are at risk from illnesses that others consider minor and we appreciate your assistance in keeping everyone well.
