St George Illawarra Dragons visit Budawang School

On Thursday May 2 2019, Matt Cooper and Kezie Apps visited Budawang School and came and met our students.  Matt Cooper is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played his entire career with the St George Illawarra Dragons and also played in the NSW State or Origin.  Kezie Apps currently plays for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRLW.  We were all excited to see them and have a chat.  They had a lovely time with some of our students and even gave a few hints to a Green Class student about how to play the ball and maybe even some tackling hints.  Much fun was had by all.  A big thank you to the St George Illawarra Dragons.  And thank you to Matt Cooper and Kezie Apps for coming to hang out and make our students day!
