We are almost at the end of Term 1 already! With only a few days to go until the holidays, we would like to wish everyone a happy and safe break with all of their families. We have had a fantastic start to 2019 and it will only get better. The students have been amazing with all the big changes that started off the school year like changing of classes, new staff and some new students. School will resume on Monday 29 April and we are looking forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready to go. We will be saying goodbye to Steve Rimington who is a Learning Support Officer who has been with us for some time. Steve is going to see what the retired life is all about, but he has assured us that he will be back for some casual shifts here and there. Elaine Howard Yellow Class Teacher and Assistant Principal will be taking leave for the rest of the Year. Lenny Emery and Simone Brayne will be sharing the Assistant Principal duties for the rest of the year and both are very excited. Penny Stein will be taking over Yellow Class for Elaine, and as she has worked here previously, we all are excited to welcome back a familiar face. Lots of new and exciting things are happening at Budawang School. We hope everyone has a great break and are looking forward to see what the students got up to in their holidays.
