Augmentative & Alternative Communication training

On Thursday 31 January Budawang staff had specialist training in Augmentative & Alternative Communication and concentrated training on the Eye Gaze.  All of our staff that attended had an excellent day with some very lengthy discussions on how we can use this training for all of our students in the school.  Teachers along with Learning Support Officers are keen to get programing for all of our students and ways we can make their communication a priority.  We would like to thank all of our wonderful families for the support in this, we understand last week would have been very disruptive, but the training that was provided has proven very valuable and will be something that we can use for all of the students that attend Budawang.
